Unfortunately there was no Scarecrow Festival this year but that didnt stop scarecrow helpers from litter-picking.

Scarecrow festival 2022. Like everyone else we were hugely disappointed when the global pandemic forced the cancellation of the 2020 festival. Scarecrow trail opens officially from 10am until 5pm Funfair including the big wheel opens at 11am until 6pm Live music from the funky group Atomic Brass in Cherestanc Square at 2pm Fancy dress. An exciting Great Wray Ball Race yesterday.

Unfortunately due to the pandemic we have decided to postpone the Scarecrow festival for another year The new dates for the festival will be 29042022 - 02052022 This year we would like to invite all children and adults to create a picture of a scarecrow and put it up in a window between 30 April and 3 May. The scarecrows are being taken down and we are all thinking what we are going to do in 2022.
